I just love Rachel Bilson. The petite 25-year old actress from The OC really caught my attention with her acting as the spoilt brat, Summer Roberts. When the televisioin series ended, I rarely get to see her act until I saw the movie “Jumper”. It was also on the same movie set that Bilson met and hook up with the movie’s main star, Hayden Christensen. Then in December 2008, they got engaged secretly during the holidays.

The actress, it seems is devastated right now as her LA home has just burglarized! If Amy Winehouse lost her set of valuable guitars and recording equipments from her north London apartment earlier in January this year, Bilson lost jewelry and designer clothing.

The burglar,  who appeared to have entered the house without forced entry, stole jewelry and designer clothing – including vintage shoes and Bilson’s Chanel collection. Her friend tells us that : “She’s shaken and she feels violated”. Well who wouldn’t?!

The burglary happened while Bilson and fiance,  Hayden Christensen, were in Canada. The two “Jumper” star were believed to be on holiday.

Her friend also says :”They stole all her designer labels – shoes, clothes, bags … She collected a lot of vintage shoes – she’s a size 5 – and they took them all.” Also stolen were.. “All her jewelry, including some handed down to her by her grandmother.” Her mom also reported the television set missing. The total estimated loss was to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

I wonder if these celebrities have security alarms fitted into their homes. Of course it would not stop the burglar if there were really prepared but at least you would have given them a run for their money right? Oh well.. I’m sure all the items are insured so no really boo hoo.. except of course for sentimental resasons
