Watch The Big Bang Theory Season 3 Episode 1 – The Electric Can Opener Fluctuation

Sheldon returns from his expedition to the North pole, and realizes that Raj and Howard tampered with his experiment, as they could not stand Sheldon when he did not get his desired results. They even wanted to kill him. They let him in on using an electric can opener to get good results, which makes Sheldon thinks he has discovered something worthy of the Nobel Prize. Unfortunately, Sheldon emailed everyone at Caltech, before his friends could tell him what exactly happened. Sheldon is so saddened that he moves back with his mother in Texas and resigns, and Mrs Cooper advises Leonard to come and talk to Sheldon. They make a trip there, but Sheldon insists on staying in Texas. However, after a disagreement with his mother over creationism vs evolution, he moves back to California.
