Leonard’s mother comes to visit, which horrifies him. Penny is upset as she was not told of her coming, but that is not the worst of it. Sheldon knows more than Leonard expects; the coming divorce, surgery and death of his dog. Beverly and Penny go drinking, and when they return, Sheldon gets a deep kiss from her, one that will be kept a secret from Leonard.
